We are very pleased to have Brian Tefft as a part-time research assistant. Brian has been working with Dr. Scott Osberg, AAA Foundation research director. According to Osberg, "Brian has quickly become an important part of the Foundation team, responding to research questions, reading and commenting on Foundation reports, and carrying out internal research projects." Brian earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from Brown University in 2003, and is presently taking graduate courses in transportation safety at the George Washington University. Brian's greatest areas of interest are identifying and quantifying the extent of traffic safety problems, and evaluating the effectiveness of safety countermeasures.
