National Pedestrian Safety Brochure in Spanish Now Available In collaboration with NHTSA, the AAA Foundation adapted a local Spanish-language brochure on pedestrian safety for use by a nationwide audience. The national brochure is available on the AAA Foundation Web site at http://www.aaafoundation.org/pdf/SpanishPedBrochure.pdf.The original local-level brochure was developed as part of a research project sponsored by the AAA Foundation in collaboration with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the FIA Foundation for the Automobile and Society. The Education Development Center of Massachusetts was commissioned to develop guidelines for creating linguistically and culturally appropriate Spanish-language traffic safety materials.
