|    This has been another busy year for the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety. Thus far we’ve released seven reports and expect to finish a few more prior to the end of the year. Our focus still remains the same - produce high quality research and educational products to affect real world change!
Meanwhile, we have been busy updating our driver training videos and have distributed almost 100,000 copies of our driver-ZED™ interactive teen safety DVD. That is very exciting. And, we are hosting a year-end promotion by promoting ZED as a holiday “best-buy.”
Looking to the future, four new long-term research focus areas have been approved by our R&D Advisory Committee:
- Safety culture;
- U.S. Road Assessment Program (usRAP) and road safety;
- Driver education, testing and licensing; and
- Senior safety and mobility.
So, we will be busier than ever over the next few months formulating our 2007 research plans.
