AAA Foundation to Convene TRB Session on Safety Culture...

In recognition of the AAA Foundation's leadership in promoting an enhanced "culture" of traffic safety, the Transportation Research Board Committee on Safety Management has invited Peter Kissinger to organize a 90-minute session at the Annual Meeting of the Annual Research Board.  The session will highlight the AAA Foundation's groundbreaking compendium of research articles titled Traffic Safety Culture in the United States: The Journey Forward, released this past April, and will feature several of the eminent researchers who contributed to the compendium.  The meeting, to be held January 13 – 17, 2008, attracts over 10,000 transportation researchers, practitioners, and administrators from government, industry, and academia, from the U.S. and abroad.
