New Car Website Becomes AAA Foundation Donor

A website dedicated to helping drivers find the best price for a new car has begun donating a percentage of its profits to the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety.

The website, NewCars.com, is an online car quote provider that matches buyers with dealers. "NewCars.com decided to donate a certain percentage of its proceeds to charities to counteract some side effects of automobiles," says Martin Schmitt, the CEO of NewCars.com. The NewCars.com site sets aside 20% of its profit and donates it to three traffic safety organizations, including the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, in order to help prevent traffic injuries and fatalities. "Everybody knows about the importance of safety education and measures that need to be taken to keep our streets safe," Schmitt, says.
