E-Newsletter, Issue 3

Late last month the AAA Foundation held a national press conference in conjunction with AAA to highlight the problem of high-risk drivers. At this event we presented findings from three recent AAA Foundation reports on drunk and unlicensed drivers (see the related article in this newsletter). However, I am most interested in not just "highlighting" problems but in implementing real-world changes that will truly enhance traffic safety. To that end, I hope that you will help disseminate these findings to your colleagues and associates. Moreover, I hope that, wherever it is appropriate, you will integrate the findings and recommendations contained in these research reports into your ongoing advocacy and other safety programs. If we work together, we can make a difference!

Very truly yours,

J. Peter Kissinger
President and CEO
