Foundation Staff Changes

Fairley Washington has been promoted to Acting Director of Communications (202-638-5944 x4). In this new role, Fairley will conduct the Foundation's public relations as well as coordinate the development of all publications and educational material. Former Communications Director, Stephanie Faul, left the Foundation in September to pursue her love of travel.

We are pleased to have Saj Sosseh, as Coordinator for Research and Education, and Meena Karithanom, as a part-time Research Assistant who will be with us for the 2003 Fall Semester.

Saj works with all Foundation staff to increase the Foundation's outreach and enhance collaboration with AAA and CAA Clubs. Coming to the Foundation from U.S. Agency for International Development, Saj has a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Communications and Human Resources & Education from Virginia Tech.

Meena is working with Dr. Scott Osberg, Foundation Research Director, to investigate research questions and carry out internal research projects. She is working with us this semester while earning her Master's degree in the Public Health Program at George Washington University. Meena is majoring in epidemiology, a field of great relevance to the Foundation.
