The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety is working in partnership with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) on the creation of a DVD/VHS entitled, Crash Course: What to know before and after a collision. Designed to educate drivers and potential car crash victims on what to do before a crash occurs, Crash Course provides tips and advice on how to avoid a crash. Various aspects of automobile insurance coverage are also explained. Regarding, post-crash issues, the video informs drivers and car crash victims about steps to take after a crash has occurred, and how to effectively deal with insurance claim issues. The DVD will provide additional features, not available on the VHS. The “crash prevention” section features AAA Foundation traffic safety videos including Children in Traffic and Breaking the Accident Chain of Events . The “resources” section features useful information about driver training programs and miscellaneous training materials. As part of the Foundation's contribution we will be providing free copies of Crash Course to all public libraries in the U.S. that responded to the BBB's free offer; they will be available at these public libraries toward the end of September 2004. To receive an email notice when the DVD/VHS is available for purchase, please email info@aaafoundation.org and include Crash Course as the subject.
