AAMVA is an educational organization which represents the state and provincial officials in the United States and Canada who administer and enforce motor vehicle laws.
- American Association of State Highways and
Transportation Officials - The goal of the Strategic Highway Safety Plan is to reduce the annual number of highway deaths by 5,000 to 7,000 and to do so cost effectively and in a manner acceptable to the general public. The site contains a fully searchable database about the many publications, programs and people concerned with highway safety. Users can also find current research on issues not directly related to the Safety Plan as well as national and statewide highway safety legislation.

- ITN America - The national transportation solution for seniors who no longer drive. ITN America has evolved from the Independent Transportation Network, a non-profit transportation service for seniors and people with visual impairments. Developed through research funded by the Federal Transit Administration, AARP, and the Transportation Research Board, the ITN is a model for consumer-oriented, community-based senior transit. The ITN incorporates the efficiency of mass transit through shared rides and advance planning.
- Insurance Institute for Highway Safety - The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety is a nonprofit research and communications organization funded by auto insurers. For over 30 years the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has been a leader in finding out what works and doesn't work to prevent motor vehicle crashes in the first place and reduce injuries in the crashes that still occur. The Institute's research focuses on countermeasures aimed at all three factors in motor vehicle crashes (human, vehicular, and environmental) and on interventions that can occur before, during, and after crashes to reduce losses.

- National Eye Institute - Homepage of the National Eye Institute (NEI), established by Congress in 1968 to protect and prolong the vision of the American people. As one of the Federal government's National Institutes of Health (NIH), the NEI conducts and supports research that helps prevent and treat eye diseases and other disorders of vision. This research leads to sight-saving treatments, reduces visual impairment and blindness, and improves the quality of life for people of all ages. NEI-supported research has advanced our knowledge of how the visual system functions in health and disease.
- National Highway Traffic Safety Administration - Homepage of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), under the U.S. Department of Transportation. NHTSA is responsible for reducing deaths, injuries and economic losses resulting from motor vehicle crashes. This is accomplished by setting and enforcing safety performance standards for motor vehicles and motor vehicle equipment, and through grants to state and local governments to enable them to conduct effective local highway safety programs. And also conducts research on driver behavior and traffic safety , to develop the most efficient and effective means of bringing about safety improvements.
