usRAP: The U.S. Road Assessment Program Phase II
Explored the development of supplementary risk maps that address safety issues of interest to the participating states, such as unbelted occupant, speed-related, alcohol-involved, roadway- and lane-departure, commercial-vehicle-involved, olderdriver, and young driver crashes. Phase II has also developed a new road assessment protocol: performance tracking to monitor the changes in safety over time for specific roadway sections.
